Steps to Apply for Content Monetization on Facebook

First, open the Facebook app on your phone and go to your page. Make sure you’re logged into the account that manages the page you want to monetize.

Once you’re on your page, look for the Professional Dashboard. This dashboard is your hub for all things related to growing and monetizing your content.

In the Professional Dashboard, find the Monetization section and tap on it. You might see a message like “Content Monetization: No Criteria Met.” Don’t worry if this happens; it just means you need to grow your audience a bit more to qualify. Facebook will guide you through.

In the Monetization section, tap on Content Monetization, then hit the I’m Interested button. Submit your interest, and you’re officially in the queue! This tells Facebook you’re serious about monetizing your page.

After submitting your interest, go back to your Facebook home screen. You’ll likely see a Next Steps section or weekly challenges pop up. These challenges are designed to help you boost engagement and meet Facebook’s monetization criteria. They might include tasks like:
- Uploading 2-3 videos daily
- Posting 2-3 photos, Reels, or Stories
- Sharing text posts to keep your audience engaged
Stick to these challenges consistently for 2-3 weeks. The more active you are, the faster you’ll meet the requirements.

Consistency is key! Keep posting daily, whether it’s videos, photos, Reels, or text posts. Engage with your audience by responding to comments and messages.
If you follow the weekly challenges and keep your content fresh, your page should meet the monetization criteria in a few weeks. Once that happens, you’ll be notified that your content monetization is ready to go!
