Accidentally deleted an Instagram post, and now you are panicking?
Don’t worry about this; there’s a solution for you. Instagram’s “Recently Deleted” feature is a lifesaver that lets you recover posts, stories, or reels within 30 days.
In this quick guide, I will show you the simple steps to find and restore your deleted content, straight from your phone.
Easy Guide to Find & Recover Deleted Instagram Posts
Step #1
Start by opening the Instagram app on your phone. Tap your profile picture in the bottom right corner to head to your profile page.
Step #2
Once you are on your profile, look at the top right corner and tap the three horizontal lines. A menu will pop up, now select Your Activity from the list.
Step #3
In the Your Activity section, scroll down until you see Recently Deleted. Tap it, and you will be taken to a folder that holds all your deleted posts, stories, reels, and IGTV videos from the last 30 days.
Step #4
In the Recently Deleted folder, you will see thumbnails of everything you have deleted recently. Browse through and tap on the post, story, or reel you want to bring back.
Step #5
After selecting your content, tap the three dots in the top right corner of the screen. You will get two options: Restore or Delete. Choose Restore to bring the post back to your profile, or Delete to remove it for good. Instagram might ask you to verify your identity with a code sent to your email or phone for security.
That’s all!
It only takes a few taps to recover what you lost. If you found this helpful, give it a thumbs up and share it with someone who might need it too.
